Our purpose built Hydrojets and extensive range of drain cleaning equipment allows us at APMS to offer a complete efficient service. The versatile Hydrojets are mobile, (truck mounted), diesel powered units with working pressures of up to 14,000 Kpa (2000 psi). These can be presure regulated to suit almost any application, anywhere in SA. The jets are fully supported by camera surveying equipment, root saws, and experienced trained operators.

Our state of the art, purpose built Easement Reel compliments our extensive drain cleaning capabilities that APMS has to offer. The versatile self propelled, skid steer unit can be remotely set up from the Hydrojet or Combination Jet/Vac units in restricted areas not accesible with the large trucks from the roadway. The easement reel will fit through small openings of 1 metre wide or greater between buildings, driveways and fences.

APMS CCTV inspection techniques will diagnose and help solve a variety of problems in SEWERS, DRAINS, WATER MAINS, GAS MAINS, PIPELINES AND OTHER CONDUITS. Full colour high quality images can be saved on various media including DVD, CD and VHS. A detailed inspection report is available on survey completion.

Our CCTV camera is able to survey pipeline diameters from 100mm up to 300mm, with inbuilt 100w LED lighting. The manual push through flexi-rod cameras are light weight & manageable to allow 1 man operation within any restricted access areas.

We use a special ground microphone for locating leaks underground or underfloor. As strucure-borne sound is not transmitted as well by non-metallic pipe materials and taking readings at the valves is not enough so the sections between valves must also be checked with a ground microphone. Using the ground microphone at brief intervals enables the leak to be located with sufficient accuracy for excavation and repair.

The radiodetection unit enables us to provide an advanced technical service solution for problem pipe and drain locating. Ideal for locating of various constructed pipes and drains to depths of 3m, including; PVC plastic, HDPE/Blue brute, cast iron, steel or concrete and checking for buried cables prior to excavations.
